Where to stay in Menorca

We hopped on a quick little flight to Menorca earlier this year and I have to say it’s a beautiful little island, definitely worth a visit.

We struggled to find a ‘good’ AirBnB so I just wanted to do a quick post about a lovely little place we stumbled upon which luckily had a free room!

We stayed in a beautiful little boutique hotel called Sodium which I really couldn’t fault.  For some reason it only has three stars but I have stayed in a lot of places and it’s worth a lot more than that.

Sodium is a perfect place to retreat to after a day’s sightseeing.  It’s set on the main high street within the Ciutadella area of the island.  The only downside is that you will have to find parking on the street but this is normal for the area and we didn’t have any problems at all.

Each of the six bedrooms has a private balcony or patio where you can catch some rays and enjoy a glass of wine and the interiors contain cool lamps, wall art and little SMEG fridges.

The hotel is family owned and they are very friendly.  The decor inside is very stylish and if you love design then this place is a dream.

Breakfasts are devine and we loved the fact that we shared a table with other guests so that we could swap stories.

Make sure you leave me your thoughts in the comments section if you ever visit this lovely little place.
